Or when his cat sitter broke the key in the front door so he has a minor family emergency on air. I love listening to them calling a game. 
 
SNY was coming in all janky for me last night for some reason and I switched to ESPN. 
Good God, what a difference. 
Thankfully, the cable sorted itself out and I was able to watch the later innings with Gary, Keith and Ron.

Michael should put shoe polish on elbow guard so umps can see when he is hit--Maybe he's going for Ron Hunt' record with today's 2 HBP's.
 
Conforto was so lucky on the hit by pitch call, especially with the amount he has left on base thus far. The umpire was ready to call him out on strikes. Mike looks bad on change ups thus far, going to need to make more contact or I see him moving out of the third spot.
 
Drove about an hour and a half today to get the first dose of the pfizer vaccine. On the way there I listened to the game on the radio the entire time. The Mets probably recorded one hit during those 90 minutes. 

the minute I arrive at the doctors office, and go inside, I check my phone in the waiting room and the Mets had tied the game and then shortly after won it. 

would’ve been nice to hear it... but I’m just glad their bats woke up for an inning. Hopefully it carries into the next game and onward. 

oh and as for the vaccine, get my second dose April 29th, same day Zach Wilson becomes a Jet and I force myself into thinking he’s the savior. Fun times ahead!

Wow, didn’t see that win coming. I turned it off in the 8th frustrated with the horrible hitting. We can’t keep leaving men in base. It feels like this team only goes up there looking for HRs.

As I previously posted get Conforto out of the third spot and replace him with a contact hitter, McNeil. I believe Michael has left at least 16 runners on base. Speaking of contact today we struck out 13 times. Conforto -3, Alonso - 3 and Vidal - 3. Hopefully, Peraza gets a chance over Vidal.
 
I know he’d probably never do it, but maybe it’s time DeGrom goes ballistic  in the clubhouse dropping F bombs, turning over the Gatorade jug, destroying Conforto’s locker with a Louisville Slugger.
 
A team that repeated can't win when they throw the best pitcher in baseball out there is not going anywhere. Ridiculous already. Reaching the point where I wouldn't give Michael Confounding the big bucks anymore.
 
They suck.  And not by MLB standards, but by Met standards, which is really low.  All you needed to see was the first inning to know how things would shake out.



 
 
Mets 36-42 since 2018 in games started by deGrom who has pitched to a 2.06 ERA. Pathetic as is Michael Can'tafforddough.
 
The Mets offensive abuse of Jake starts is flat out disgusting. It gets me angrier than the last 2 Norm years
 
I’m really liking 7 inning double headers. Nimmo keep that on base % up and Stromsj looking good. I’m still pissed they are killing all of Jakes starts but today at least was a good day
