2019 Transfers

Cleveland St btw.

Source: The NCAA has denied Oakland's Rashad Williams' request for a waiver. School will appeal. Transfer from Cleveland State.

Cleveland State isn’t supporting transfers. It’s not really a secret anymore.

Geno Auriemma went off on the NCAA pretty good today concerning waivers and to a lesser degree, schools that stand in the way of transfers being eligible.

Rashad Williams transferred to Oakland--an H.L. competitor--in June, leaving Coach Felton's team, one of the first to leave I think. No clue what his claim for a waiver was don't think there's much similarity with Rasheem's case.

Shame on the NCAA for allowing this to be a significant part of the equation.

This kid played in nine games for Kentucky last year and averaged 8 points. He is originally from Philadelphia and now immediately eligible for the University of Washington.[/quote]
Calipari wanted that & moved needle

Both recent Kentucky transfers Baker and Greene were supported by Cal on their waivers.

Seems as if all the blue blood teams or high major conferences get waivers and mid majors denied........then there is us ....smh

It's the least Calipari could do after likely offering the former 5 star recruit the world to sign him.

Mind-boggling this kid got a waiver. Given this charade to play immediately; Steere should clear by leaps and Dunn by bounds. Gawd.

Tom Izzo tells me that Michigan State is still appealing a waiver for Marquette transfer Joey Hauser to receive immediate eligibility for 19-20.

Jeff Borzello
Iowa State freshmen Luke Anderson and Marcedus Leech both entered the transfer portal this afternoon.

Year round process

The NCAA has denied a waiver for Clemson's Nick Honor, per release. Fordham transfer.

Goodman noted there are more than 30 players waiting for transfer approval or appeal results.
