2019 Transfers

Corey Evans
Providence is currently hosting St. Joe's transfer Jared Bynum for an official visit, a source tells @Rivals. One of the top freshman traditional transfers available this spring

I feel really good about the potential new staff and what should be the ability to spread our eggs around. Matt, on the other hand, could really see his bread and butter take a hit if Calipari is going to consistently take a dip in the grad transfer pool from now on. Matt could have definitely sold some of these top kids on Hoiberg, but now that's tough with Cal lurking around.

I think Matt will be ok.

How many open spots do we have? I looked at JJ, a usually reliable source, and it appeared that they hadn't updated in a while.

Rothstein
Marquette transfer Joey Hauser tells me that he and his brother Sam plan to visit Wisconsin, Virginia, Iowa, and Michigan State.

Just one person's opinion obviously, but seeing Figgy ranked there among those names makes you appreciate again what an incredible identification and get that was late last year. Hope we get benefit of two more years, what a player. Cornerstone potential as a junior/senior.

Familiar name, per Rothstein

Nevada transfer Jordan Brown is receiving interest from Arizona, Kentucky, Cal, Miami, Louisiana Lafeyette, Saint Mary's, Oregon, and others, per his father.

I believe this is another familiar name to us, our former commit J’Raan Brooks. Surprised how poorly he did this past season.

25) J’Raan Brooks, 6-9, 220, PF, Fr., USC
Stats: 2.0 ppg, 1.3 rpg
Scout’s take: “Skilled face-up 4-man who can make mid-range jump shots at a high rate and can also stretch the defense to the 3-point line.”
Schools: N/A

I hope Brown goes to St. Mary's. Will be a total stud there, as opposed to being buried on bench.

USC had lots of big man depth. His numbers would have been much better here.

Any talk of us contacting Terrell Allen a pass first PG grad transfer from UCF? He is # 23 on list. Excellent assist to turnover ratio and 40.6% from three last year.
