Assuming Heron is gone aswell (likely)

Do they play small and put Wright in the lineup or play more traditional with Keita at 5?

Question should be, is Keita returning? I don't see him as a starter in any lineup.

Let’s keep it moving.[/quote]

And this is you assuming. You're stating it like it's fact.

Find it hard to believe Keita would transfer again. There are minutes out there next year if he works hard. He knows the system.

Are you sure about Simon?
There's been 'rumblings' he'll return to West Coast.
Hope you're right.
It's totally a guess on my part, but I think it's at least 50-50 Heron returns also.
He's had knee issues, had some difficulty meshing with the offense, and he's a smart kid.
He may want to complete his degree and if he returns, he'll be the 'go-to' guy next year--something he wasn't this year and something that apparently bothered him.
It's just me speculating and hoping he returns.
We shall see.

Pretty certain. I was told he is happy here and not planning on transferring. I know I'm "new" here, but I've been around since the Norm days(just don't remember my password).

Agree Heron could change. I know his mindset was to play one year. Sometimes things don't go according to plan.

Just trying to see what guys think of our potential next year. I know the sky is falling for some, but I think we will be alright. Obviously the roster could look different but as of now...

May have been said before but once ponds leaves I think next year will be a lot better. Amazing player and kid but seems to have a big ego. Good role players will help big time especially if heron and Simon stay. Last thing more structure from mullin is needed next year for the new guys. I firmly believe the issue this year was essentially having kids do whatever they want.

Simon looks to me to be fully engaged with SJU and finished the season (before dance) with two excellent games. I'd be shocked if he doesn't return assuming Coach Mullin returns.

Simon is too high character of a kid to leave the SJU family. And he doesn’t have an over-involved parent doing media and using terms like “we” and “us.”

Indeed. He is fully engaged. He is coming back.

Agree with others that said team can proper without Shamorie. Although he is great he is not an instinctive natural pg. That's why he's disappeared at times. He committed to becoming a better passer and leader but that got in the way of his aggressiveness.

I'm definitely not expecting to be better next year, however if everyone eligible comes back (besides Ponds- who I obviously want back but isn't returning), then I'd feel a lot more optimistic. Please no rebuild next year! Can't wait 4 more years to make the Dance. If next year is at least an NIT year, I'd consider that a success.

"I think we could be better next season if we add a mature big man with good hands." (4 year broken record)

That's been our kryptonite. If we do add a big and pg we could have a very balanced roster from top to bottom. That might equal a better season.

Who’s our coach and staff? Who returns? Schedule next year? Can’t help myself until opening day, I’ll be thinking of midnight madness!!!

How can anyone think of next year right now?

I need a break from this team and this program. Gonna relax and watch all these other schools play the next couple days. Sju basketball stresses me out way too much

Heard Matt is taking a different flght than the team.

-Staff will change
-Ponds, Clark, Keita, Heron ( look for Mullin to try and convince him to stay) Possibly Trimble and Good Possibly Simon will leave
-Steere and Cameron Mack will be eligible

That’s all I got right now.
