When your biggest player is Amar Alibegovic you know you're in trouble on the front line.

Amar is very capable of boarding. If he comes to his senses and réalisés that there are good minutes available if he plays close to the basket as opposed to hosting 3s both he and the team will have a much better than anticipated season.

God help us! Based on his poor performances he is the last guy we should depend on.

I hope they have a grad assistant helping out to fend off any random doors, signs or other inanimate objects that might attack him, because like it or not, we need him. But wouldn't it be great if he came out this season providing maturity?
That could be a big ask because he hit 3 3's in a row at the Staten Island scrimmagelooking a little short

I should have read your post before posting the same.thing. Darrin was there last night and texted me when it happened. He's going full long distance bombing mode this yearlooking a little short

Agree with such a thin front line we need him. A friend & occasional poster saw the Staten Island workout last night & noted toward end of the evening Amar nailed three successive bombs. Guess what behavior that will reinforce?

Do you think he's supposed to be playing under the basket and he hangs out by the 3 point line of his own volition? I don't. During some game next year the first thing Mullin did after a time out was find Alibagowitz to tell him to "stay out of the middle." I'm not saying he can't rebound better from the wing or shouldn't but he's not a post player and unless something's changed it doesn't seem like he's supposed to be one. He's supposed to be the guy who gets kicked out to for dagger threes.
Mullin should be calling the shots...
If so, he's the one approving continually allowing Ali B to chuck at 28%.
If Mullin is expecting better outcomes this season, he cannot allow repeat mistakes of last year. I doubt unless Ali B improved his 3pt% drastically.
Even then, I would have hoped he would sit Amar down on first day of practice and tell him he needs to be physical first, if he wants minutes and practice that heavily.
In a few weeks well know.

Yeah, AA took a whopping 3% of our 3’s, averaged 1, that’s ONE, 3 a game. I realize Mullin is very unpopular on the board, not sure why, but at least let’s criticize him for something remotely relevant. If our seaso n depends on the play of AA we are in the toilet, fortunately it will not.
