2017-2018 Season

Gotta subtract Simon's hair, plus Clark a step back in photo... Clark probably 2 inches taller.. all these kids are built really well though. Definitely Big East size,
 
No exhibition games listed, so I'm guessing we're doing two closed scrimmages vs. D1 teams?

I think I would have preferred one of those, and an exhibition game.
 
Check out the RPI (Based upon last season) on some of the schools @MarleyPaul22 posted and currently in the Twitter feed on the right. Most of us assuming New Orleans a cupcake is @ 161 is also a finalist for the 5Star Mitchell transfer who last I heard is New Orleans or Kansas as well as possibly sitting out a year for NBA. The NBA option is probably if they NCAA won't clear him to play this season. If he ends up at NO could be tough. Grand Canyon 124, Nebraska 111, Iona 84.
 
I dont have a problem with the schedule at all but is Grand Canyon a school or are we playing in the Grand Canyon ?
 
we can't do the early season malaise like last season. We could lose to any of them and as we've seen even Molloy. OTOH the only team we have no business beating rest of the year would be WVU and if we beat the teams we should we have a good record to build a Tourney run on going into 2018.

New Orleans won their league last year, but their top three scorers will all be gone. Now, if they get the 5 star kid that Paul was talking about, that's different, but I do expect them to be bad this year.

On the flip side, Oregon St. and St. Joe's should be much improved from last year (Obviously Missouri too, but they are not guaranteed). Oregon State's best player took a medical redshirt last year. When he was healthy two years ago, they made the NCAA Tournament. St. Joe's also lost 2 or 3 key guys to injury at different points of last season. They never really had their full squad together at any point.

I am sure we could have found a local team to take that spot. Unfortunate. I am sure they are charging full price for that game as well.
