#20 Marquette, Sat., Mar. 8, 12 Noon, FOX

Marquette has two days to prepare for this game. It's challenging for a team to prepare for us with 7 days rest, 2 is a major problem.

Still, in addition to the health of our guys, outcome may come down to whether our guys are fresh after the 7 day break, or rusty. With our coaching staff and what this team has shown this year, I would bet on the former, but you never know for sure. I'll go with the prediction below:

Brian Mahoney: 85
Kevin O'Neill: 81.
The son of a buddy of mine is a student manager at MU. He told me they got home Thursday at 3:30am. And the game is 11am CST on Saturday.
That's going to affect the outcome of the game a lot more than whether they're mad/desperate/whatever. Their asses will be dragging.

A shame Smith will be out, we could have pressed them to the bejeezus and run them out the building.

W/o Smith, give it a whirl v Marquette & no matter the result, win the Big East Tournament in usual physical, won’t be denied defensive fashion. Then the big enchilada awaits where team health & good draws are obviously mega important.

2 things here:

1-Smith has not played good lately
2- We have won all of our games w/ smith out of the lineup.

I am not concerned w/ Smith missing the game. I think we still win.

Scott all good to go??, his SH game was what 3 minutes long...haven't heard anything so I guess he'll be fully back.

And the groins of KadaRJry all healed?

I am kind of expecting a loss tomorrow just due to the circumstances. Hope to be wrong of course.

As much as we hope the team will remain focused on this game after clinching the regular season, I just think Marquette will have a little more edge to them. Now with smith out I believe that even more. And it’s already not easy to win at their place

I hope we play a good game and have a chance to win late.

that's very fair without Smith

We can still win tomorrow without smith won’t be easy but UConn blew them out on the road when they were not even playing as well as they are now.
