19-20 Roster Construction
Absolutely no disrespect meant to Huey but who is he exactly ? He was dobo or something like that ? Braziller or Zags mentioned him and St Jean the other day and I've seen some posters here mention him since Mullin left and I was just curious who he is ? I dont remember anyone mentioning him until recently unless I missed the posts
He was the guy holding Mullin back one game where he was going nuts at official. I think it was at CA one game we were collecting techs like I collected baseball cards in the 80s and early 90s

Grad assistant then DOBO for a year

Huey is a big guy.....played for Kansas.

He was ready to coach our big men, but.......ah......never mind.

Count me in as a guy who actually hoped Trimble comes back for a few reasons:

1. We need bodies
2. Trimble can shoot 3s and get after it on D - both good traits to have in a CMA ran team
3. With the style CMA plays, he likes to run a 9-10 man rotation, so Trimble coming in with the second crew to play some solid D and shoot a few 3s could really help.

Agree wholeheatedly with this. Since the end of the season we have lost Mack, Manual, Ponds, Simon, Clark, and Trimble. Figueroa seems on deck to wave goodbye. We have added no one. Trimble will be missed.

There are 3 new bodies who sat out last year who were added. I like Trimble but to say he is a 3 point shooter is a stretch

Trimble appears to be much too slow to play the kind of defense the new coach appears to favor.

Good luck to Caraher then. I think Williams and Roberts will thrive though.

still have to have shooters. David will be fine.

FWIW Marvin, Simon, Trimble, Figgy, and GSJ were working out together on campus today. Probably doesn't mean much that the players are still here but Greg still being here is interesting.

Or could be a gang that's all leaving. Who knows?

Kinda concerning that LJ is hanging out so much with guys that are on their way out the door, you'd hope he'd be working out with the guys that are staying. Just reading the tea leaves LJ looks to have one foot out the door. It's silly IMO, system is perfect for him to thrive and he's already an older guy for his classification.

I don’t know if I would look at it as anything other than some friends playing basketball together while they still can. My main point was how St. Jean was back on campus and still around the program. I don’t know if this means anything for the future or if he was just hanging out with friends too.

As for LJ, I remain cautiously optimistic. The fact that he took a visit to WKU and did not commit coupled with his advisor’s criptic tweet about loyalty being a “one way street” among some college coaches (Hsu?) might mean something. Add to that the fact that he has always stressed how he likes being close to his family, his age, and some things I have heard from people who know him, I would not be surprised if he stayed. Obviously nothing definitive, but hope springs eternal.

Who's his adviser? You have his twitter handle? I'd be interested in reading the tweet he put out.
