Yeah they have alot of talent coming in, but they'll be 1st year ncaa players.
I know Lovett practiced last year, but that's not the same as in game experience.

They'll be 1st and 2nd year player, very young.
I'm going with 15wins. 17 would be butters.

I'm next year is their breakout year. 22+ wins. Yeah I know, I'm way ahead of myself.

This year will be a much more fun year, I just don't want to expect to much after last years 8 wins season.

15 is reasonable, with 7 or 8 BE wins perhaps.

To me the most important thing is to finish season on an upswing with perhaps an upset or two to set stage for 17 & also be a positive in recruiting.

Easy over. Well maybe not easy over... but it will be over. Wagers will be gladly accepted :)

I feel like I'm being optimistic with 8 or 9 wins OOC and 7 or 8 in conference. That's 15 to a push and I hate pushing so I gotta go under.

I enter this season with the same expectations I have at the beginning of every season: UNDEFEATED, BABY!

Uh, no, not accepting wagers on that.

i'm always optimistic but trying to be realistic for the upcoming season....it would be great if we could win 9 OOC games so that we will have exceeded our total wins from last season before league play even begins!

I'll say under 17.

But, I also predict we finish the season feeling optimistic about the program's immediate future.

Last season we relied on 3 former Lavin players to play major minutes who basically were bench warmers under Lavin. Although Felix, Amar and Jones gave 100% they should have been 10 minute men at most. The rest of the team never practiced together and the coaches were doing OJT.
I took pleasure in beating Syracuse and it made the season for me. Now we have 6 players who practiced together all last season. The only true freshmen are Shamorie Ponds and Richard Freudenberg and they are excellent 4* talent. Amhed, Owens, Amar and Williams will be entering their 3rd years of playing college ball. Two high quality talents sitting out but pushing the current players.
We are twice as good as last year so I think we will win twice as many games.
The really really big wild card is the coaching staff. They could be the difference between 14 wins and 18 wins.

Fun exercise. I went over the schedule other day and between ceding some losses that might be wins, came up with 18. It should be a very exciting year, with a very young and talented team. I agree the coaching staff may be the wild card. Let's Go Redmen!

Push. And that should be considered as significant progress by all

High end NIT semis or bubble team, low end under, depends on coaching and injuries.

7 to 9 ooc is fair range
5 to 7 in conf, not including BET.

Although its a big range 12 wins at the low end (disappointment), 16 wins at high end (overly optimistic)
