We’re finally getting a nose for winning these big games. KR is coming on at the PERFECT time. Smith is still coming along but looked better by end of game. Relevance tastes DELICIOUS! Now we don’t have to be the fans of that team our uncles wax poetic about from the 80’s. We matter right now nationally in the very thick of it. The buzz is undeniable.

Beat UConn somehow and I may think this season is one big simulation! Please just take 1 from them!

Guarantee there have been staff working the UConn scout exclusively since last week. But doesn’t mean you’re wrong that it’s an advantage for UConn.

Last I heard, Boogie was a projected first round pick (middle rounder) and with the season he was having, I doubt he slipped.

I have no idea regarding MgBako’s prospects.

Announcers all seem to mention “ next level,” but don’t say NBA .
 
This is a big game for Hurley. His massive ego (screamed to a ref: "Don’t turn your back on me. I'm the best f---ing coach in the country") won't tolerate Pitino beatimg him in his own house.

UCONN is a non-entity in NYC now. That little snot was an obscure guard who couldn't for Seton Hall who lived on his brother and father's coattails. He is a very good coach, but best in America? He was smart enough not to go the Lakers where Lebron could have him fired in an instant. His whiney screaming act would not play well in the NBA.

It will kill him if SJU comes into their house and beats him, if Pitino outcoaches him.

That in a nutshell is why I want us to badly beat them and their connsucking fans.

While we hear quotes like this all the time, it just seems as if this group really means it. They play for each other and consistently show hustle and defense.

It is obvious they are brimming with confidence but remain focused on the long road ahead.

Again, they don’t have to go out and say the perfect things during pressers. They have us hooked already. But every day, we appreciate this special group a little more.

Love rooting for them. They have restored so much pride. Wearing any kind of SJU gear around the City is now considered cool. Imagine that.

this game is going to have the intensity of a national championship

Can't wait to watch this game. Wish it started at 7/7:30 instead of 8 - too much waiting around after dinner lol.

Considering that even in our best season, uptown everyone wore Georgetown gear, SJU gear being cool is quite a change.

I literally have a closet full of assorted sju shirts, pullovers, hoodies, spring fall and winter outerwear, its crazy.

100% They've had 1-2 guys on this game for at least a week. I think the advantage comes in if you are going to jump a team with a new look. Hurley likely isn't going to do that. We may have if the rest was flipped.

6 days is a long time to be off physically...could be a benefit for us.

Dropped from first round projection to second round in mocks I've seen. His scoring is OK but he does not rebound at all for his size. He could stand a year of better coaching for sure.

Shut your mouth. Just hope it doesn't go to OT so I can head off to Bright Eyes on time after the game. ;)

I don't want to watch this game distracted at my desk so I'll leave at 4:30 to catch the tip at home.
