#11 Marquette (MSG), Tue., Feb. 4, 6:30p, FS-1

I'm not trying to be a dick, but why do you call Deivon the Mormon? One season at Utah for a kid from Georgia. He spent two years at Ga Tech so why not call him the Bumblebee? Now if he went to BYU for a year that would be another story. ;)
A long, long time ago - in a galaxy far, far away known as Beb's, I was an idealistic young poster noted for two annoying posting traits: 1) Fiercely backing unloved players of dubious quality who reminded me of the Charlie Brown Christmas tree. And 2) Using bad player nicknames that only I find funny or clever. I decided to give this forum a small taste of number 2.

We got enough of #1 with Daniss last year TYVM. 😇

- the student SECTIONS are the hottest ticket in town right now. Absolutely electric!
- weve all been to enough St Johns games, to see that it usually takes some time for the crowd to get "warmed up". Not anymore. It was electric from the anthem. You walk into MSG and theres that "buzz" that people talk about. Great job by all last night!

Did anyone notice, RJ played all 40 minutes in a high intensity game without a blow and was still all over the court at the end, should get the Iron Man award!
Funny thing going on by me, there was a guy who really really hated RJ. Every time he made the slightest mistake he was screaming at Pitino to get him out of the game. He didn’t have a problem with anyone else. Which eventually got me to notice he hadn’t been out.

And that’s why the idea that UConn has some kind of advantage having 5 days off vs. 2 is just not so IMO. Maybe helps heal some players that are nicked up but overall, I never liked having that kind of gap in-season.

It not only helps physically, it gives the coaches a ton of time to prepare. That matters.

Uconn had 3 days to prep and then got to sit down and watch st johns last night.

St Johns open the book on uconn today.

Its a huge advantage Uconn especially w/ an all time coach like hurley.

Wonder which poster it was, plenty of suspects. 🤣
