That is very classy

Just my opinion but we know we are gonna see more of our kids in the portal soon let’s take the high road and be classy about it because here is Pinzon a kid and he is was super classy
Beyond that, they came here, played for the school, good or bad, and are KIDS. Even Curbelo, who I would not want back, is still a KID, so you have to put that into context. I wish them all well, wherever they wind up, and in life.

Not at all surprised that he is the first to enter the portal.
Was very happy when he committed to us and unfortunately he got sick and things just did not work out right for him or SJU during his time here.
I liked his departing post and wish him all the very best and hope we get to play against him in the NCAA Tournament in the near future.

Not saying Pinzon isn't a classy kid, I have no idea, still don't know why he was suspended. But you essentially have no choice but to make a classy goodbye post while entering the portal. Have to look good for potential suitors.
Had a chance to meet and talk with Pinzon for a good 15 minutes at my tournament on St. John’s . He is a wonderful , humble young man . He loved St. John’s , loved representing the school and the city . I could hear the passion in his voice . He wanted nothing more than to succeed at St. John’s . Sometimes things just don’t work out. I hope he is successful wherever he lands .

Let's hope he stays local to represent a school in the area/City he seems to embrace.
