I didn't get to watch as many games as possible but two things with Posh seemed to stand out a bit to me. 1. Julian left and a lot of attention that was spent containing Julian got spread out to the players. 2. Although Posh played a lot of minutes, the rotation, especially for the first 2/3 of the season seemed in constant flux. Add to this the fact that a lot of the time there was a lack of any really offensive design, making it more playground ball. Add to that the ball being in Curbelo's hand quite a bit, which reduced Posh's opportunities to attack or make the decisions.
I don't know where RP will make adjustments, but I agree with the idea of him working to up speed and protecting the ball. I think having an actual offensive system will help with the turnovers, however, if Curbelo handles the ball as much as last year, you won't see a Fr/So Posh return offensive stats. He needs more touches to see those kinds of numbers.
I will be happy with a defensive firecracker with the same offensive numbers and fewer TO.
