Tough as hell team who I love to watch. Curbelo much better than I expected offensively and Posh a demon defensively. I think it’s safe to say Soriano a bit more than a serviceable big. Need more from our bench but Wusu gave us very solid minutes down the stretch.

I hope not. Jones is not a freshman. He played at DePaul last season. It’s just the way this team plays. 🙂
 
Imagine if we played under control and didn't pass to the invisible man or hit bunnies. We should have won this game by 10 in regulation but we took an ugly girl to the dance and she distracted everyone by spinning in her dress only to reveal she wasn't wearing underwear.

Ah, then I chalk it up to our mental craziness. This team plays like it represents a psyche ward or they are in hunger games and fighting to survive; I laugh so much. At one point a Syracuse player was shooting a free throw and he made it in and Curbelo also slapped the dude five. 😭😭😭

Posh is clamping people down. He guarded Girard the first half completely shut him down, then last few minutes of 2nd half and OT he switch on Mintz, and Mintz couldn't do a thing. Posh is putting on a defensive clinic. Honestly if you just watch him on the defensive end, it's a thing of beauty to watch, he's sacrificing his box score stats to win games, you love to see guys like this be successful. I hope at the end of the season the BE gives him the recognition he deserves on the defensive end.
 
Nice win
Would have lost at least 3 of these games the last 15 years.
Couple of easy fixes:
Jones- baseline, foul line shots and driving the ball is his strength. Settling for too many looong threes.
Curbelo- can live with the bad, maybe tone done the ridiculous stuff
Probably won’t happen, but if could just tone done the crazy turnovers….
Wusu-believe it or not thought played great in 2nd half
Didn’t drive and limited his shots
Storr-needs to play

Here's the thing.... We have an identity, even if it at times seems aimlessly. Late in games, so far this season, you can see it wears teams down and may have an affect not only physically but mentally as well.

Totally fair questions. I wonder if this “style” of play can win long term. Seems like this will be a roller coaster ride. Nice highs, low lows.
