Hopefully they were gathering their torches and pitchforks. The team when they found out Lawnan was killing Darling

They are going to throw potatoes at himHopefully they were gathering their torches and pitchforks.
Amen, Amen, Amen! All five of the projected starters are on the first second or third team / POY. Pretty remarkable for any team to ever say this let alone St. John's.
Special group of talent. Lets hope it takes us to places we dream of.

Waiting for my flight, so I thought I’d share some of the feedback I’ve gotten about this team over the past few weeks, mostly from assistant coaches within the BE. Obviously, from media day—where they were picked and with the number of players recognized—this team is highly respected across the board for their coaching and talent. Almost all the feedback was positive. As in, 99% thought this was a Final Four team. That being said, I’ve decided to share a few of the concerns that were voiced to me. These are NOT my thoughts at all nor my opinions...later this weekend ill post the positive feedback...which WAY WAY WAY outnumber the below...dont kill the messanger
Jackson – “This could go badly. We have a pool on what will happen first—will he kill Rick, or will Rick kill him? This is a totally new structure for him. That step-back three he loves will find him right next to Mass on the bench. He’s a great kid, a bit sensitive, so there I’d have some worry—will he get down on himself during a tough stretch?”
Darling – “We’re going to go right at him. Every. Single. Time. He’s small, and when he tries to get into the lane, he’s going to find no space. Not sure this will work.”
Zuby – “Kid is the best offensive rebounder I’ve seen in 20 years. BUT if they plan on playing through him in the post, that’s a win. We won’t need to double him, and that keeps him off the weak-side glass.”
Sanon – “He’s the best player on that team, and he knows it. Will he be okay deferring? It’s well known he came to get NBA-ready... when he’s averaging 10 points because of the depth, will he get frustrated?”
Pray – “Keep hearing about improved offensive skills... not concerned. He has poor hands and is very robotic.”
Sellers – “Stop with the turnover numbers. Who cares? He was a spot-up shooter—why would he have inflated TO numbers?”
Rick - " Hes the best. Not currently, but ever. But their were some issues behind the sceens last year...not the ones on TV or RJ v ARK...they got worked out....will they happen again and will they be so lucky?"

Pretty soon the Post will charge for new duds for Zach.

We really don't know what Darling will do, since it's a big step up in competition for himDarling is going to get into the lane. They are off by a lot on that part.
Also don't really care about Sellers as a PG. He's clearly being used for motivation there by Pitino because everyone else is out of control and he is controlled and smooth.
Sanon might be the best NBA prospect, but Hopkins is the best player on this team. Don't double him in the post and he will eat your soul.

I get it delivered to my Florida condo every day.I’m so tired of all this pay for basic newspaper stuff. I keep trying to think of financial benefits of moving back to NJ from NC. I guess one is getting all this when I buy the paper copy of the Post if that still exists!
