Wish we could have landed him to play PG. Hypothetically, if he had come to SJU, who do you think wouldn’t have? Darling, Jackson, Sellers? Don’t remember the time line of who came when.

This is really the only season over the past couple decades where they DON'T need to convince students to go by providing a free (but costly for the school) concert. Not ideal, but putting resources elsewhere may be the right call.

I'd be extremely curious about how much Midnight Madness costs in that it actually impacts the university doing other things to engage students. This reeks of a spin-zoned, bad excuse.
On one hand, I get it if just date was an issue or if considersble more tickets & transport to games are going to students for better game optics.. but if just for watch parties etc..I think its a bit of a cover to save $$..and bad look on one of the few traditions program had.
