Can we burn Suero this weekend and then sign Alexis Diaz, please? Diaz has three more option years after this one. Velo declined a bit from his all-star year, but I like the idea of Edwin's brother being in the org.

He’s got some weird stats. Pitched 15 times this season, 3 games he got annihilated (twice against Cards), 2 games he gave up a run and the other 10 were scoreless. Hell, he only has 7 walks in those 15 appearances which is great compared to most of our pitchers. I wonder if the Edwin connection matters to Stearns.

The dodgers waiving him has to be a signal he’s either very close to an arm injury and/or he’s shot. But Edwin’s got a opt out and Alexis has more options than most of these borderline guys
