See the Euro Leagues. All guys on one year contracts. Its a year to year proposition in the NCAAThe other way to look at it is #megahaul every year.

Which makes me wonder whether it's the Icelandic kid or if it would be a former highly ranked kid who has bombed first couple years and wants the Pitino Zuby treatment.I think we'll find a guy who can eat 12-15 minutes in that situation. But whether its Vince or someone else, we would be screwed no matter what if Zuby is out.
Don’t watch this is you don’t want to be reminded of the importance of good PG play
Icelandic kid (or someone similar) makes a lot more sense now. Prey slides into Vince's role (/Zuby's soph year role), and that guy slides into the depth center spot. I don't really think we will grab a big time backup center, because Prey's minutes will get squeezed.Which makes me wonder whether it's the Icelandic kid or if it would be a former highly ranked kid who has bombed first couple years and wants the Pitino Zuby treatment.
No one has filled his SHOES since!A beer at msg to the first person who reminisces ably Curtis Johnson who’s not related to him
Rick is challenging the big boys in the BIG and SEC by bringing in PROS who can compete from day one. ZUBY is our anchor but our ship will be nuclear by conference time.Next year is starting to feel more like Rick’s first season with only Joel (Zuby) coming back.
I wouldn't fret.If he's interested in heading back out west a good landing spot would be with a former coach of ours
This is a Vince thread. Please stay on topic.I wouldn't fret.
He'll have two dozen offers by tomorrow.
I miss the days when coverage of St. John's basketball in the New York newspapers was highlighted by stories of Curtis Johnson's massive, misshapen feet...A beer at msg to the first person who reminisces ably Curtis Johnson who’s not related to him
Ironically he got a job at Florsheim as a manager .........jkI miss the days when coverage of St. John's basketball in the New York newspapers was highlighted by stories of Curtis Johnson's massive, misshapen feet...
I did too.I liked Vince. Thought he had potential. Sorry to see him go.
Agreed. Maybe Vince was expecting Zuby to play some 4 to open minutes at center. With Mitchell, that’s not happening.Could be, but I see how Mitchell directly impacts Vince’s role. Really hard for 5 guys in the front court to be part of a meaningful rotation at the 4/5.
