Available Lead Guards

Market seems a little sparse so far and realistically am expecting they go with a proven PG and coachable combo guard, who embraces distributing. Some fans assume Sim can rise to the occasion in latter role, but in 29 mpg last year he did not generate a reasonable number of assists. Hopefully he improves there if called upon.
PGs are born, not made. Sim isnt a pg and never will be.

Rick needs to bring in 2 pgs in this portal season.

One thing I marvelled at last year was Kadary Richmond's pass first mentality. For a star level player, he was always looking to set up others and make the whole team better. His 2.65 to 1 assist to turnover ratio was truly outstanding. Filling the void that he left will be a challenge but hopefully we will find the right people to do it.
Huge hole, a crafty, smart passer who really put pressure on defenses.

Paul vi hs and sidwell are the usual powerhouses down here, along with Dematha and occasionally Gonzaga.
No idea though if McDaniel and lewis come from the same aau program. Do you know something?
Know nothing here. Just wondering if we would try to entice a hot shot recruit with maybe a player he looked up to.

DeMatha, Gonzaga, and St. John's along with Paul VI are NOW the usual powerhouses in the DMV. Sidwell is Johnny come lately. Traditionally, the Catholic school powerhouses down there are DeMatha, Gonzaga, and St. John's with Paul VI coming on the scene across the Potomac in VA in the 2000s.
