Available Lead Guards

Huff isn’t a PG. Swope seems more of a lead guard but has turned it over plenty in lesser leagues than the BE.
Swope a PG but has played the last two years in a very structured offense that plays most of it through Point-Center Avila. Swope's 2 point percentage inflated by a heavy amount of backcuts leading to open layups off passes from Avila.

Good player no doubt, not sure if he's a big minute PG for a top tier Big East team though.

That doesn’t say much for his high TO rate then.

Yeah, still rough. The last Indiana State team with Schertz and Avila had Julian Larry play PG for them. He transferred to Texas and his numbers completely nosedived in pretty much every category, and they were way better than Swope's were this past season.

Swope has also played 4 years of NCAA basketball already so I don't know how he'd be eligible unless D2 gets a special waiver like JuCo did.

I can't see any scenario where staff does anything more than low level tire kicking here even if they miss on Lee and Wagner doesn't portal.

Larry had a pretty easy gig passing to Ryan Conwell, Avila, and Swope for 20 three pt attempt a game at Indiana State. He also had fellow Texas transfer Jayson Kent.

That's a bully lineup in the MVC, on par with Pitino's Iona team compared to the rest of the MAAC. I agree that it doesn't appear Swope has any eligibility left. Southern Indiana went D-1 after his freshman season, so he's played one year of D-2 and 3 years of D-1.

he might not have eligibility left.
Yeah.....bummer. Southern Indiana transitioned from D-II to D-I before his second year there. ESPN only lists his second year. I don't know of any reason he would get a waiver, but that was pretty exciting for about 10 minutes.
