Guy is gonna go to an SEC school and average 10 off the bench. Shooting splits are incredible. Athletic and has some passing skills. They were 5-1 in the games he played this year.

He and LeJuan Watts who’s also transferring, played together at Eastern Washington before both transferring to Washington state. I can’t believe these two schools had these kids.

I like this kid a lot. I don't know how the hell he ever played D-3. He either had a growth spurt or there was just a complete breakdown recruiting.

I could be overstating this off of just a couple of examples, but Washington State seems to find these diamonds in various sports.

They took a chance on a transfer from Incarnate World, who was a zero star QB transfer and played in a Wing-T offense in HS. His name, Cam Ward.

The Wing-T! Trap, sweep, waggle, belly...could run those plays in my sleep they were so beaten into us as kids. Nothing like the option.

Quick pitches, buck, etc. I played in this offense (and coached/utilized it after high school) as a senior in HS. It can be a heckuva smoke and mirrors offense.

Back on topic....

He might be my favorite player in the entire portal. He manhandles wings in the post. He also passes out of the post like few players. Long arms, strong as an ox, skilled. Took guys off bounce with both hands baseline.

Someone get this to Matt A. Marillac's highest recommendations here.
I was scouting midnight on a Wednesday, you’re not stealing this credit! 😂

my girlfriend is from just outside Pullman and her family are big WSU fans. As a result the past few years I have adopted the cougs as my west coast team i root for.

I caught a couple games back when Coward was still playing. It wasn't long but he was insanely good in some of the games he did play in.

His injury was one of the real bummers of the year for me, thought WSU could have contended in the WCC with him healthy. Without him, the team just didn't have the offensive punch needed. Weren't particularly good on defense either, Coward helped on both ends of the floor.

I like Watts but he can get overwhelmed sometimes by good defensive teams
