Luckily I think Wagner dead sprints to the portal the second Lee commits to another school.

I could be overstating this off of just a couple of examples, but Washington State seems to find these diamonds in various sports.

They took a chance on a transfer from Incarnate World, who was a zero star QB transfer and played in a Wing-T offense in HS. His name, Cam Ward.

They took a chance on this kid from Northwest Mississippi CC and Eastern Carolina. And he turned out to have the best mustache in the NFL.

Fake. They probably had interest but BYU was mentioned as the landing sport early on.

Not that they don’t have a large NIL, I don’t see them spending $5M on Wright. BYU on the other hand…
