2025 Portal

I mean this is their projected starting lineup:
Projected starters: Milos Uzan, Emanuel Sharp, Terrance Arceneaux, Chris Cenac Jr. (freshman), Joseph Tugler

That's before adding Pop Isaacs (who's buddies with Uzan). Cenac is a top 10 HS recruit.

That's being loaded.

Yup they’re loaded and have an insane class coming in. Pop will fit like a glove

I thought we were getting Arceneaux…

Do you think that beats the team they just had with all that experience? Roberts was there for 5 years! It seemed like Cryer bailed this team out over and over too. I feel like the 24-25 team beats the 25-26 team 9/10 times.

I'm not sure it does, but we're talking about preseason number one -- not who's team is better this year or last. Houston and Purdue probably have the best continuity + talent returning though.

True, but we were #5 and I feel pretty safe saying our 25-26 team would beat our old squad the way things are developing. I'm sure a lot of top teams will be the same. But it's just a vote at the end of the day. Kansas was #1 this time last year.

I think we could be the most talented team by the fall next year and be some guys’ #1 choice. Houston and Purdue would be the two safer choices. The rest, like us, depend on portal adds and chemistry

I'm curious why when a mid-major player transfers, many on this board think it'd be too much of a jump up in competition to the BE? Here, we covet Watkins, yet he started at A-10 VCU. Of course, he is one of dozens who have starts at humble programs only to prove themselves to be a key contributor, or more, in a P5 program.

Johni Broome came from Morehead State. It's a little foolish to judge players by previous schools imo

VCU probably best program in A10 plenty of their players could play a level up.

I was at the McDonald's All American game at the Barclay's Center last week and in addition to Chris Cenac Jr. coming to Houston, Isiah Harwell a 6' 6" guard is coming to Houston also and is extremely talented too.
