Yankees 2025 Season

This one goes under the title "Annoying Loss". Lots of chances to do something and nothing. 10 LOB, 3 for 12 with RISP. Especially with the ghost runner on base in the extra innings. So far my read on williams is not impressed. Throws the same pitch over and over again. Only Mariano could get away with that.

Made Heany look like the best lefthander in MLB.

Back to lots of strikeouts.

Thought Boone left Warren in too long today.

Well said ! Williams not impressive so far

In the top of the 11th. yanks had first and third one out Strikeout 13 is on the day

I'm expecting that the robust Yankees batting averages will be back to normal after this series.

.118 hitter did the Yanks in.

This is not a good time to struggle, what with this Tigers starting pitching, and the Giants, Royals and Rays to follow.

Rice cost the Yankees a run, and do did Chisholm on a DP ball. Typical Yankees on the bases and in the field.

Went to Pittsburgh for the weekend series, and saw all three games. What a beautiful ballpark - amazing view downtown. Weather sucked overall, and Sunday was the coldest baseball game I have ever been to, and that includes October playoff games. Grisham was incredible this weekend, and Volpe, Goldschmidt and Dominguez looked really good overall. The bullpen was surprisingly good on Saturday and Sunday, 11th inning not withstanding.

If you guys ever have a chance to go out to PNC Park, you should do it. The park is a gem.

game eleven. in the frozen tundra of detroit, the snow stopped the yanks from crossing home plate.
carrasco and yarbrough will be joining rodon on october 1st for a multi day golf outing.
fried, schmidt, and pray for snow.

Isn't crappy base running an invidualu thing, how is that the managers fault? If anything I'd say it's more of cashman's fault for getting these guys.

I guess everything is the manager's fault even though they're major leaguers
When it happens multiple times with several players involved, it’s the manager’s problem. It happened last year, was not corrected this spring; it’s his fault.

Only thing he can do is bench them then, what else do you want him to do?

Teach them base running? Then they should be in the minors.
