When I read Game 7 thought you were going to be talking about game 7 of the 1961 WS. I still want revenge for that series but doubt we’ll ever meet in WS in my lifetime so have to take regular season wins. Also want revenge against St. Louis for 1964 series.
That is one of my worst memories as a youngster. My cousin, with the exact same name as me, lived in Pittsburgh and was a huge Pirates fan. I heard about that game for at least 40 years.

Boonie let cruz pitch to one batter too many. That pirate world serious still haunts me. Yanks had so many more hits and runs than the bucs. Yes the 1960 classic. Yanks won the third game. ten zIp. The sixth game twelve zip.Welcome d Williams.

Thanks yes I remember it was 1960 brain cramp. Remember those days better than if you asked me who won last year's WS. Reds with Vada Pinson always loved that name.
and one game score was 16-2 Yanks. Think they outscored them overall like 54-27.

Stroman sucks, hope they trade him by the deadline.
Gonna tell me a minor league pitcher can't atleast equal Stroman.
Only difference would be the innings pitched.

game 8. followed the first 6 innings on gamecast as i went to a simon/garfunkle tribute.
the score after 4 innings was 4 to 2 bad guys with the money line at +180.
i was very tempted but chickened out.
bravo to the b team bullpen for being scoreless for 5 frames. including leiter.
the yankee lineup batting averages are beyond healthy.
a far cry from last year when often there was 4 or more batters under the mendoza.
my offensive least favorite yankee stick is trent. wow. he had 2 gettys.
maybe gone are the weeks when trent never got the ball out of the infield.
yanks base stealing up from most years. speedsters are jazz, volpe, and $99.
stroman walked 3 in the 4th. all 3 scored.
