Kadary is the reason we are here. So I guess you can say Mike Repole is the reason we are here. The way the Refs and Pitino ripped the last game of his college career away from him is criminal.

That’s a non Answer from Rick . His way of deflecting the question.
Something else happened that hasn’t surfaced .
By the way , Rick was outcoached by his nemesis , Cal today .
Cal rotated his bigs in there , regardless of whether they fouled out or not . He had 3 big guys in his bench .
Rick never countered that strategy and we didn’t get Zuby the ball enough in the 2nd half .
In my opinion , what the most devastating part of the game was KR on the bench for 22 minutes or some similar number on the first half.
Richmond running the offense all year was the key to our success . Having Smith plug in for him , isn’t the same thing . They are different players and Smith isn’t KR.
Smith is ok as a sub , not a 30 minute player and has no outside shot to counter the defense .
He tried to drive into the paint and more times than not, missed the lay up or , it was blocked .
He also had a key turnover late in the game and missed some crucial free throws but , he didn’t lose the game for us but ,, he contributed to it the same as our 4 starters ,
It’s tough when a 2 seed loses to a 10 seed . Shouldn’t ever happen .
Pitino was off today too . Not his best game either . Cal had the upper hand .

Happy you don’t have a say since if you did Mike Anderson would still be Coach and our season would’ve been over a week ago.
Where was Ayo today ? On the bench far too much . Scott pulled a 1-10 shooting today . That says a lot .
KR with 5 points does too . Wilcher made it a 4 some .

McAndrew going to be a big factor for the Jays next year .

Kind of player we need . Rick needs a sharpshooter desperately .

Lol…, he’s only “very selfish” when his shot isn’t falling.
When it’s falling he’s the BE POY and 2nd team All American. He didn’t get there with his assists.
He’s our scorer. That’s his job. Been that way all year long because he’s the only player on the roster who can actually create and make his own shot from beyond two-feet.

I doubt this one incident would push him to the portal. He doesn’t seem like a kid that makes irrational decisions. He had a great season under Pitino this year and could have an even better season next year.
This is all true Tnice , we also missed a dozen shots at the rim. We shot 9% from 3. We could have used a guy who at least could have hit a couple and that’s all we would have needed. I’m not saying that he would have but if we had a guy like Brady who does have the ability to knock down a couple you never know. We couldn’t throw a beach ball in the ocean today. We could have used a guy with Brady’s ability especially since Arkansas was giving us those shots. Regardless of what RJ did or didn’t do today we missed a dozen shots at the rim. Extremely high percentage shots. If we make half of them we win in spite of everything else.

We couldn't hit shots...open shots, contested shots, 3 point shots. We had plenty of chances. Their defense was not amazing, and it wasn't any "tougher" than big east play. They got us on our worst day. If they Arkansas played well, there's no way it should be that close with 3 minutes to go. We simply couldn't put the ball in the basket. Sure, the refs called a poor game, but how can we expect to win shooting 28% from 2 and 9% from 3?
Also that 8-for-25 on layups compared to Arkansas going 16-for-27 on those didn't help matters.

First off you’re F’n disgrace who has axe to grind and does it after we lose in amazing season. Is this Rob Parker? God bless you. Mike Repole was never spending money on the program if Ricks not hired. I like Shaheen he’s a good coach but if they don’t get it together for him at Hall he’s going be on unemployment line.

Has a 2 seed ever lost in the second round of the NCAA tournament and looked as bad as we did today? Of the 11 times you reference, be specific. This was a brutal loss.

Can’t be more specific stating a 2 seed has lost 11 times to a 15 seed. They are all brutal. Brutal losses happen.
Man it was a one possession game under 3 minutes against a SEC team who was ranked 16th to start the season. We didn’t lose to St. Peter’s or Florida Golf coast.

Then a loss to a 10 seed shouldn’t be all that shocking. Disappointing yes, but stuff happens.
