Creighton has played two late games that went to the wire. SJU has played easier games at an earlier time. Creightons big ,Kalk, has had stamina problems and a third game in three nights is going to be tough. Playing against the energizer bunny , Zuby will be a major challenge.
Expect a lot of bench time for Kalkbrenner. Advantage SJU.

Kalkbrenner has barely sat the last 2 games and I definitely would not count on a lot of bench time tonight. My guess is he and Ashworth play almost the entire game. That's what they've done so far in the tournament and I don't see them deciding to change in the championship game.

Just ran a bracket sim at EvanMiya.com... we are a 2 seed that loses to Omaha in the first round

Next one has us losing to Mizzou in second round

Third one is an L to Baylor in second round.

I had to run six more to get one where we make the sweet 16, where we lose to Kentucky.

On top of this no #2 seed that was unranked in the preseason won a natty, almost none made final four, and on average these teams do not make the second weekend. Marquette two years ago and Purdue in edey's first big season are examples.

But the last one had us in the Final Four knocking off Mizzou, Kentucky and Wisconsin! It is a killer draw with VCU and Florida, and a Gonzaga/UCLA 8/9 game

I don't mind you being over confident, as long as the players aren't. This is for the Big East title. I don't expect them to roll over. Our guys will have to play with the same sense of urgency as always, and expect a battle.

You know we won’t be able to avoid Gonzaga. They’ll be the 7 wherever we are. Arkansas the 10. Louisville the 3. New Mexico the 9.
