I thought the exact same thing with the Zags. I know I am violating “the be careful what you wish for” rule but…I want them. I want them badly. We owe them. Time to settle old scores. I have a memory like an elephant even if our players weren’t even born yet. Plus this years Zags ain’t your usual Zag team. Very beatable.

On top of this no #2 seed that was unranked in the preseason won a natty, almost none made final four, and on average these teams do not make the second weekend. Marquette two years ago and Purdue in edey's first big season are examples.

But the last one had us in the Final Four knocking off Mizzou, Kentucky and Wisconsin! It is a killer draw with VCU and Florida, and a Gonzaga/UCLA 8/9 game

Bring e’m on. Analytics be damned.

They have losses to West Virginia, UCLA, Oregon St. and Santa Clara. They lost 2x to St Mary’s but won the dreaded 3 times in a season. Let’s not bring that up again. I generally love the Zags because Mark Few is a great Coach but this ain’t your Fathers Zags team.
