I don’t have any answers but this post reminded me of when I was watching the ACC Tournament and they announced “ACC Legend” Derrick Coleman from the crowd. So the trivia last night was how many BE coaches played in the BE (or it might have been played for a BE Team or in the BET but it was along those lines).
The answers were 2, 3, and I think 4 or 5.
I could only think of Holloway and Hurley.
The board asserted that the answer was 3. I believe they were including Matta, but when he played for Butler they were not in the Big East.
Am I missing someone or were they wrong and the correct answer is 2 (unless we are just pretending all of the current teams were original members (which by the way would not include Villanova, little know fact there for some)?
Augh how could I forget that - my buddy played with him there! Oldtimers diseaseSean Miller - Pitt
I can’t really put my finger on it but that RED really brings that Bracket to life.
