@Butler, Wed., Feb. 26 , 9p, CBSSN

Speaking of hockey, I thought that guy Kapke threw more hip checks on screens than I see on Ranger games. I know refs aren’t calling moving screens much anymore, but this guy was doing it constantly. Also he comes in at 57% on free throws and goes 5 for 5 against us.
With Brooks/Kapke lighting us up, I thought we could have used Keegan Bradley to stem the tide. 😎

A SJU staple this BE season, making plays at crunch time.

Sometimes I'm not sure what I'm looking at. Rick said last 5 min. we did good job. I thought we were letting guys get buy us and making bad switches and having to foul and they were making most of them. we are so good on d why are sending them to the line. If im seeing poor I don't mind being told.

I like Sim but has a tendency to commit silly fouls. Did it again last night with a reach 30 feet from the basket which became a 1:1 with shot clock ticking down. Needs to play smarter.

All true . There are other guys who foul out in the deep court too, not just Wilcher .

They all pretty much are guiltily of senseless reach in fouls , at some time or , other .

He’s probably the most guilty though

Smith was no lock down defender last night either . He was getting beat like a drum by Butler guards and also , got posted up on some ill advised switches .

And , Devion was sloppy with ball in the back court several times.

For all his faults , Wilcher still has that classic stroke on his shot and , when he’s hot , he’s very hot .

I’m convinced some of yall just take one glance at the box score, scan for who scored points and decide that someone played well or not based off of that
Guilty as charged last night. I missed most of it and Cbssn doesn't seem to do replays a la Fox. Was Vince really that bad in his 6 point 0 turnover 1st half to deserve the beating he took on this board? Seems unlikely.

i hear the "we don't lose" crowd... i really do- but if we wrap the League up on Saturday... im am all for sitting KR/RJ/Dev/Scott... whoever...

give em 2 weeks off... get ready for 3 wins in 3 days.... its not like we'd be chasing an Undefeated record... im cool with 17-3... you guys? I'm confident we don't fall below a 3 seed in the Dance.
Two weeks without playing is an inordinately long time, way too long IMO. Players are used to playing twice a week, rust kills. I would be willing to bet to a man they would say one week borders on too long. The assumption that rest is necessarily only a positive is a false one; again, just my opinion. Personally, I would be shocked if Pitino does that but he certainly knows what he’s doing.

nah- agree... 1 week in between Marq... 4 days in between the BET... should be good.

you see it for the top seeds in the NFL... sit em in week 18 and they have another week BYE... but entire diff story there..

Apparently, they ain't geniuses, lmao. I have thought the same thing. That is why when I DVR games, I always DVR the next scheduled show also.

The simply answers is that 3 games over 6.5 hours generates more ad revenue from an audience of 6 fan bases than 2 games over 5 hours from 4 fan bases. No time for the third game if they schedule rationally on weekend nights. Games should start before 7 either but they have to again to suit the networks.

Great, great actor. I know this comment isn't acting but he had this great smile that exuded warmth though he didn't possess leading man looks.

Unless this was a carbon monoxide accident, was likely a planned suicide to leave this earth together.

Many great movies but French Connection and Hoosiers stand out.

My theory was Gene died of a massive heart attack and his wife found him and then decided to take her own life. Better movie. Very tragic. Seems the immediate POV is that they ruled out carbon monoxide or other accidental contamination. They had also been there a while.

Checked out the Vince thread. Seems to me that RP does not see Prey as a 5, or has an agreement not to play him there. I don't think that's going to change. Based on that assumption ideally Zuby plays 33 and Vince 6-7 but early foul trouble will change that.

When has Wilcher been hot? The only game I remember him hot was Depaul his freshman year when we were up by 80

Doubt a planned double suicide .They were in different rooms. He apparently fell. Maybe a heart attack caused the fall. She was found in the bathroom with an open pill bottle and pills scattered about. She is probably a sutcide after finding his body
