What a fantastic effort by the kids tonight. Down 14 early, getting killed on the boards, not able to make an outside shot to save their ass, and then they just grinded this one out. Systematically wore Pukonn out, and showed the heart of champions. I don't care if they are bad at the foul line, or not especially good from three. This team will be in every game because of their heart, toughness, and relentless effort. Oh, and the Hall of Famer on the sideline isn't too bad either. Amazing win - on cloud nine right now!!!!

That above post from mully has me convinced he actually is a UConn fan and not SJU

You beat UConn on the road. As a SJU fan you should be building them up. We just beat a contender. We’re one of the best teams in the country. Your first instinct shouldn’t be to downplay the opponent. Tighten up MR. They have the best damn coach in the Galaxy. Solo ball and Mcneeley are STUDS! Hahahahaha

I’m not a boy. Not sure why you feel the need to call me out after a huge win, especially since I’ve been as optimistic as any fan on this board. But to answer your silly question, yes I still think our ceiling is a 2 seed.
 
Said it during the first half and all you know…we can switch off any position, any player, it doesn’t matter and it gets in their heads. The last 10min of the 1st half you could see it. I’ll give that Van der Beek looking bitch credit, but the rest of them were shook the rest of the game. They scored 40 points in 35min basically. They’re gonna be dreaming of us tonight.
 
Extreme sense of pride in this team and the direction of the program!

The defense is somehow getting better game to game if that’s even possible. They’re switching everything and you cannot get around them regardless of who is on the ball from 1-5!

One other thing I’m liking is how condensed the rotation has become. Still like to see Prey out there with a little Glover sprinkled in. But it’s very much top 6 playing significant minutes.
