Connecticut (MSG), Sat., Feb. 3, 12 NOON, FOX

I’m not going to stop watching , rooting and hoping. I will never do that. I just think we are all just tired of experiencing the same disappointment year in and year out.
Well, it was a team that was quickly assembled with a handful of parts that may not exactly mesh. They're not bad players; more like faulty players.

I like the kids on the team and still feel we'll dance, but I truly believe losing out on Clayton is the difference with this team.

Hear nothing about Jenkins ball hogging today because all of our players deficiencies were exposed today! More shots taken by Luis and Dingle than Jenks until last minute. Nobody ever steps up except Jenks and Soriano and certainly not anyone today. So dont you think that Pitinos unconditional support for Jenkins all season was because the HOF coach knew all along what he had and what he didnt have all along? What is more realistic, this board knowing more or less about these players than Pitino? Pitino sees them every single day!
Did anyone check out Dingles shooting percentages in previous years? Not very good!
He was actually defended today in the second half. That’s unusual.

Newton is the same player as Jenkins just 4x as good.

Bad loss against a good team. Just have to take it out on Depaul on Tuesday and, more importantly, Marquette next Saturday.

Watching at home, while frustrating, it just looked like a major talent mismatch. The dam broke once they made halftime adjustments on Jenkins.

I still think there’s a 9 or 10 seed there. Some of the other major conferences are way down and I think .500 in the conference may be enough.

Just got out from game. It’s a long way to come to watch that. But UConn played over their heads, didn’t miss a foul shot and the white guard couldn’t miss from three. The reality is except for many Luis, there is a big gap in the talent level and Joel gave us little.

Honestly if you look at their stats, they’re very similar players. Unfortunately for us, Newton is also 6’5 which gives him a huge edge

For “did you expect to beat UConn posts, I say not really, but thought we could really make it competitive going down stretch.

So disappointing the way we lost; missed FTs, second half TOs, Joel in Guam seemingly and failure to build better lead in first half w Clingan sitting. Reminder - Karaban one of their glue guys was out.
