I know Pitino has a reason why this does not happen but I would love to see Zuby and Joel on the floor at the same time.Hate to say kind of think we are better with Zuby
Allow us to play faster and is more athletic

Very weird that a Pitino team peaked in early January and has regressed since. Just not enough consistency from anybody.
Minus a couple bad shooting games, Jenkins is the only one that has been solid all year.
Soriano looks like an All American against the 6'6 Centers from Stony Brook and Holy Cross but melts down against real bigs.
Ledlum plays hard and has some value but is a couple inches too short and not a good enough shooter.
None of Dingle, Alleyne, Luis, Taylor have stepped up and asserted themselves as a guy that deserves to play 30 mins a game.
I don’t even think that we will win all four against DePaul and Georgetown. I think we lose to Georgetown on the road. I best we can hope for is 5-4 in the last 9. That’s not enough to get us in the tournament. We would have to win two games in the Big East Tournament and still at that point we’re probably one of the last four in playing in the play in game
Creighton is good but Butler down a player went there and won. We really did not compete in second half, have lost five of last six and really lack the balanced offense and D commitment to compete consistently and generate upsets to be considered good. Not whining, just realistic.Lots of comments about our short comings, but UConn is GOOD.
This is the correct assessment. Rick's first-year teams are historically bad due to him usually taking over a program in shambles. STJ's has already shown flashes of what to expect as he continues to rebuild. Sucks to see the struggles now, but the future is bright.I hate the losses but this is the first season it feels like we're moving in a positive direction. Maybe it won't happen this year, but it will happen...
Well, you can tune it out altogether. That's the other alternative.I agree Dink, we all know that but I think we are all just sick and tired of waiting for next year.
Excellent summary MugVery weird that a Pitino team peaked in early January and has regressed since. Just not enough consistency from anybody.

Because we don’t have a PG. UConn manufactured more three point looks today than we have all season combined. We have NO 3 point game with any of these players . When you get behind double digits , you need the 3 . We don’t have that capability .
Soriano a giant disappointment t today . With both UCONN guys out Ruth 4 Soriano should be going off .
And they enjoyed the refreshing coolness of the iceberg water...Your ancestors were band players on Titanic I take it![]()
Actually the play that did it for me was Dingle’s drive for another left handed lay in that didn’t draw iron, came right to Soriano for an easy dunk, but oops, another fumble, right in and right out of his hands….Team is average and Soriano is not a leader.
The play at half court when Ledlum felll on his ass. And Jenkins just left the ball at his feet. Sums up the second half.
I’m not going to stop watching , rooting and hoping. I will never do that. I just think we are all just tired of experiencing the same disappointment year in and year out.Well, you can tune it out altogether. That's the other alternative.
Game was over by then, but it epitomized a lot.Actually the play that did it for me was Dingle’s drive for another left handed lay in that didn’t draw iron, came right to Soriano for an easy dunk, but oops, another fumble, right in and right out of his hands….![]()
But here’s the quirk looking at the rebound stats, if you take out the boards for Clingan and Johnson, their two bigs, we were STILL out rebounded 29-23. Just a joke……Uconn stats 49% 46% 90% out rebounded by 15! Enough said!
I think they're the best in the country this year, even if they don't win it all this year, cause the NCAA Tournament can eliminate you after one bad game. The hottest team wins that, not necessarily the best team.Lots of comments about our short comings, but UConn is GOOD.
No doubt it had no effect on the game, just emblematicGame was over by then, but it epitomized a lot.
