So much good news lately, but here's some bad. I will be off of redmen.com until next season.

Have to finish out this school year strong and distraction free and take the SAT as well. My grades took a dip during our February and march run LOL. And I rarely post during the summer. So this is me signing off for a long time.

Oh and I also wanna say this season was the best experience I've ever had as a St. John's fan. I'm thankful I got to interact with all of you during it.

The one caveat would be if Cal leaves for the NBA. That said, I am not sure why Cal would leave. He already makes an NBA salary and has the program running like a machine.

We should forget about Briscoe.

Why would Cal leave for the NBA? In the NBA they usually don't vacate wins because your coach has violated rules.

I know a former hs coach who knows Cal from at or before his UMASS days. Cal is a relationship person, which is no surprise since he recruits so well. As a college coach, you MUST be a relationship person, because your success is so dependent upon others. Although Cal takes a lot of heat, much of it not unduly, he is able to rebuild programs because he is talented at attracting young kids to a program - now he has an enhanced reputation, but before it was all personality and salesmanship.
