Of course. It wasn’t a prediction. But I think school would use it as reason enough to stay with current regime. 3-3 even. This team will be lucky to go 2-4 never mind 4-2.

Unless CMA doesn't want to coach here going forward then the school has no leverage to even begin negotiations. The buyout number is part of the contract and there's no wiggle room unless CMA decides he wants to budge on it
Boy, what a completely devastating season compared to how optimistic I was at the start of the season.Yeah, 4-2 probably means NIT, because it means at least two more victories vs ranked teams.
Providence not Xavier at home.Bottom line is they have Creighton and UCONN at home with Xavier and Marquette on the road. I don't see them winning any of those 4 games. I know the argument could be made "Well they beat UCONN already at UCONN..." so what? UCONN Is much better and playing back to their potential now. They are not losing at MSG to SJU. And right now DePaul and Georgetown are maybe lean SJU but on the road who knows.
That's right my bad. UCONN, PC and Creighton at home with Marquette on the road. Hard to see how any of those let alone all 4 of those games being won by SJU. All 4 of those teams demonstrably better than SJU and all of them are going to be focused on seeding in the BET and therefore are going to be extra motivated to NOT lose to a team they know they should beat, SJU.Providence not Xavier at home.
CMA lost this team, as ron said, they'll be lucky to finish 2-4.Of course. It wasn’t a prediction. But I think school would use it as reason enough to stay with current regime. 3-3 even.
Momentum in either direction is never far away. Like I said I’m not predicting it. But we saw an 0-11 BE team beat a top 5 Duke team and #1 nova team on the road back to back once. Did Mullin “have” that team prior?CMA lost this team, as ron said, they'll be lucky to finish 2-4.
You can't retain a coach who lost his team, that would be insane.

Here is what needs to happen: do not attend any more games this year. All fans needs to email Shanley and Cragg. If you are a season ticket holder and/or booster, your email to Cragg and Shanley must say that you will not renew your tickets and will not donate to the school or program any further if MA is brought back. Probably should also halt any membership to Storm Marketing NIL which also serves to prop up the current coach.
