And, it's all pretty much on point, except for him stating that Obekpa de committed after not qualifying. For someone who supposedly follows the program closely, how do you get that wrong?

Anyway, the pressure is on Coach, so we'll see how he responds. Sampson would be a strong add to Doughty, but we need some guys with size too, I'm concerned that we're really only dealing with Diallo and Freeman as big guys go...of course, if we get them both, then no issue, but that's asking a lot.

IF we get Diallo and Freeman, and IF CO and Sheed stay, and IF we can get one or two other solid roll players( I have no confidence in anyone on our current roster), then that looks like a pretty good team going in to next year. But those are also an awful lot of IFs.

I am puzzled and concerned about who will be recruited to play PG. Without a solid PG in tow, I don't think Diallo folks will find it attractive here. Briscoe would have been a positive in that regard I believe. Big guys obviously want someone orchestrating, capable of getting them the ball in right spots. Maybe Mussini could fill that void if we get him. I notice he has been playing more Point in Europe lately. We'll see.

Paultz, do you see Doughty playing any pg? His assist numbers seem pretty good, but tough to assess vs, the competition. Would Lovett be an option if the Italian kid doesn't come here?

IMO, the article is fair and balanced
Tells it like it is
Lavin came in like a lion and may be going out like a lamb

No, Doughty is a SG. I have never seen LoVett. On film I have been impressed, but some folks who have seen him play, are not thrilled. Obviously Mussini seems best equipped for PG, but, as noted, he only started playing there recently.

Probably because it's tough to keep up with all the de commits, transfer, ineligible players etc under the Lavin regime

Job well done by Zach.

The public floggings of Lavin will just get worse and they are very deserving. 2013 and 14 are the worst recruiting classes in SJU history even w Sampson 15 still needs a tonight of work too.

The article is 100% truthful and on point.

I love the Lavin apologists trying to argue w Zach on Twitter. Get lost!!!

When you guys stop referring to those of us who are not comfortable with starting all over again as "Lavin apologists."

See the post right above this one.

You may be right about '14, but Rysheed was the '13 class (clearly not the worst ever).

I understand that. It's one player though who has shown a lot of promise in year one but in year two has not played up to expectations and has actually been a detriment to the team with his circus act side show.

There's a reason we only play six guys - because the 13 & 14 classes were a horror show
