Yankees 2025 Season

If the Yankees played the Astros 13 times a year, Alverez would hit .800 and hit 15 homers against them. Their pitching approach to him has to change, and improve.
 
Team is so hard to watch, but nice series win, and a good start to the 4 series gauntlet.

Rice is an absolute adventure at first base. Not good, and could have cost them this game.

Good thing Grisham added on late. This bullpen needed every run.

Nice contributions from McMahon tonight, although I generally regard him as an easy out.

Good job out of the pen from Cruz, but he needs to cut back his between inning cheerleading.

Terrible job by this umpire crew throughout the series. BTW, the report card on the plate umpire last night showed he missed 15 pitches, with 14 against the Yankees. The call on the liner caught by McMahon not being an out is beyond ridiculous. Clearly a catch.

Strong outing by Rodon. Yanks would have swept the Cheating Astros if Idiot Boone had left Warren in longer last night.

got home to see the bottom of 8th. zoning hearing.
the 9th inning was enough to give me agita and trouble sleeping.
yanks template - scoring runs, notch above average starting pitching, disaster pen.
playing boxscore berta - bravo rodon, trent, and mcm.
maybe mcm woke from his season of sleeping.
3 yank errors and none for volpe. what are the odds?
stros cemented their cheater label. ump in 2nd game. bat in 3rd.
 
I guess rhe kid was not ready for prime time. He gets the first.2 outs in the game, and 100 pitches later, he finally gets out of the inning.

Umpire with yet another bad call on Chisholm in the 2nd.
 
Zero, I mean 0, patience at the plate by the Yankees tonight against a mediocre pitcher.

I don't get their approach. McMahon works a walk, and the next 3 hitters swing at the first pitch and make easy outs. WTF. Did they just want to get home to rest for tomorrow? Extremely disappointing effort for such a big game.

Leiter up to his old tricks. No wonder he hasn't pitched in forever.

Rice is every bit as bad as a catcher as he is at first base. DH is his future.

Doval is just plain bad, as a pitcher.

Haha. Idiot Boone says they kid's stuff was good. He was horrible.
 
well 8-4 isn't going to happen since they'll have to go 6-2 in the remaining 8, no way in hell is that happening.
I'd say 7-5 is still a slim possibility, 10-15 %..

Like i also said: They probably go 4-8
