Yankees 2025 Season

There has not been a more embarrassing loss this year than tonight. How can you lose to that team? The Yankees are somewhat fortunate that the Knicks lost again tonight, otherwise they would be getting killed over this.
 
Unacceptable loss. Schmidt continues to disappoint. Again, too many walks and he can't even get through the 5th inning. Hill once again gives up go ahead run. The at bats get worse and worse. Why not bat Bellinger for Vivas late in the game?
 
The merry go round was in full force in Denver. 21 hits, 13 runs. Big games for Volpe, Wells, DJ and Dominguez. Fried was outstanding, and Boone should have let him get a complete game. Need Will Woman to pitch well tomorrow to get the series win.
 
Nice start to the series. Really good outing by Yarbrough. Just enough offense. Big hit by Volpe. Bellinger continues to have good ABs. BTW, Peraza just looks horrible at the plate, while serviceable in the field.

Good to get the first one.
 
Yarbrough is definitely an unsung hero in the early part of the season. He has been solid each outing, and it's amazing how a pitcher with pretty middling stuff is able to consistently induce soft contact and get outs. Bellinger has really stepped it up, and Volpe is back to being somewhat hot (he's way too streaky, TBH). Real good win to start this series.
 
Bit of a struggle for the offense lately, but Rodon and Loasiga did a great job on the mound. Williams still a work on progress.

Grisham turned the wrong way on a double earlier in the game. Too easygoing for me.

What the hell is up with Judge? Only 1 hit and 2 strikeouts. 😂

But won another series. Get the sweep tonight.
 
Williams not ready yet to be in the position that he was put in. Boone is bullpen clueless,
 
A series sweep! Have to admit I thought they let Kikuchi off the hook the first 2 innings and somehow the Angels would eke out a win.

Offense struggled the entire series, but the pitching across the board was great. Schmidt finally settled in.

5-1 so far on the trip. How sweet would it be to take 2 of 3 from the Dodgers?
 
Schmidt was a grinder last night - could not put guys away with two strikes, but did a much better job of pitching to contact as the game went on, and let his fielders make plays. Real good effort tonight. Bullpen got the job done with the C arms. Offense was on vacation this series, but they got the sweep. Now, they get a chance to see where they really are against the Dodgers. Should be interesting.
