Yankees 2025 Season

Yarbrough is one of the most underrated players on the team. How he gets guys out with the slop he throws is anyone's guess.
Teams don't see pitchers like that too often. When he's facing them for the first time, it can throw an offense off.

Probably a better weapon in the starting rotation than out of the bullpen, since he can't afford to miss over the plate. If that happens, at the speed he throws, it's probably not going to get hit for a single, if you know what I mean. A starter can overcome that, but a bullpen guy might not be able to.

Apparently, Weaver was unavailable tonight due to a hamstring issues. Hopefully, it's just tightness.

Dominguez also left injured. Jammed his thumb. He'll go for tests when they get back to New York.

The Yankees are now finished with the NL West completely (they went 7-8), and have only 19 games remaining outside of the Eastern Time Zone (3 of which are next week in Kansas City, so it's only 16 after that). Their latest scheduled start time from now to the end of the regular season, is 8:15 pm Eastern Time.

Good win last night to finish a 6-3 road trip. Which is what I was hoping for before the trip. Have to say that Fried and Warren getting exposed concerned me. Hope they get back on track with the Guardians and Red Sux coming to town.

Who was that guy in the DJLM uniform?

Hopefully the Dominguez and Weaver hurts are minor and not longterm.

Dominguez definitaly out for tonight. Sounds like the IL is a distinct possibility. He will be evaluated againt today.

Jazz will be activated for tonight, which lends credence to Dominguez going on the IL, but he might have been activated anyway.

Dumb Dominguez. I like him, but if you're going to wear a sliding mitt, use that hand to reach out to the base where required.
