Yankees 2025 Season

Well there goes Williams , loads the bases in the 8th and 2 outs.

Weaver coming in.
At this point, the Yankees just have to trade him (he's a free agent at the end of the year, so he's tradeable) and not care what they get back. It would be the best thing for both parties, IMO.

It was a good move by the Padres manager to go on with that long argument against the home plate umpire too, because any momentum Williams got from that strikeout was gone afterwards.

5 losses this year leading in the 8th inning. Mark of a bad team. 3 walks in the 8th. That seems to be happening a lot this season.

Why was Cruz not in in the 8th inning?

Team just doesn't hit. Long season. Very mediocre team. 0 'fer with RISP tonight.

Great job by Rodon.

Ed Whitson 2.0 strikes again. I'm starting to think that Williams cannot pitch in NY. He can't deal with the boos.

I said it a few weeks ago. His body language and answers to postgame questions portrays a man who has no interest in being in NY.

7 hits in that 7th inning, and they were all hit hard. Bellinger probably had the softest one, and that was a legit line drive to rf.

Biggest Yankees scoring inning in almost 10 years (July 28, 2015 - they had an 11-run second inning at Texas). Stadium was rocking during that frame.

Nice win tonight with the bats finally showing up after their recent troubles.

Good job by Schmidt.

Should be up 2-0 in this series.

Last night felt like the first game this season that we stole from our opponent.

To win after being no-hit into the 7th inning, and still trailing 3-1 in the 8th, against a good bullpen, can only do wonders for the team going forward. If nothing else, it pretty much negates the Monday loss.

How good has Max Fried been? Last night, he allowed 1 run over 7 innings, and his ERA went UP to 1.05.

Looking forward to the games in Sacramento this weekend, if only for the novelty factor of the minor league park. Apparently, the ball has been jumping out of there, which should suit us, at least offensively (Oakland Coliseium should not be missed, from a hitters' perspective).

The A's have been an early surprise this year, but they're only 7-11 at "home", compared to 13-7 on the road.

Nice to see him with the power display, especially from the right side. Reminds me of some of the displays by the Mick.

Judge connects for #13 in his hometown of Sacramento.
Bad Rodon today.

Judge tacks on another dead center for No.14
