At this point, the Yankees just have to trade him (he's a free agent at the end of the year, so he's tradeable) and not care what they get back. It would be the best thing for both parties, IMO.

It was a good move by the Padres manager to go on with that long argument against the home plate umpire too, because any momentum Williams got from that strikeout was gone afterwards.

Felt a lot of frustration being let out in that seventh inning. Lot of hard hit baseballs. Great to see. Schmidt pitched really well, and Matzek and de Los Santos also pitched well. They were one run shy of it being safe for Devin Williams to pitch.

7 hits in that 7th inning, and they were all hit hard. Bellinger probably had the softest one, and that was a legit line drive to rf.

Biggest Yankees scoring inning in almost 10 years (July 28, 2015 - they had an 11-run second inning at Texas). Stadium was rocking during that frame.
