Can't say that I ever imagined that this team was going to make the World Series, but everything broke right for them in terms of matchups, and the clutch hitting showed up. The patience in at bats with drawing walks and getting pitchers out of the game were key. Torres and Volpe were very underrated in the series as contributors, and Stanton and Soto were magnificent. Even have to give Boone some credit for how he managed the bullpen over the last two games - the available arms made things a real challenge, and he navigated it very well.
Yankees-Dodgers harkens back to the childhood. It will take a yeoman's effort to win this one - the Dodger lineup is real deep and tough to navigate. Not sure of how healthy Freeman will be. The Yankee starting pitching needs to come up big in this one - this is where the Yankees have an advantage. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
