Yankees started the season in Toronto going 2-2. Two losses were blown by the bullpen, coupled with excessive patience by the new manager, Boone, sticking with relievers that were not sharp.
I also am not in love with the Yankee lineup. Judge and Stanton, back to back, at 2 & 3. That's going to be close to 500 strikeouts for the season. I would prefer Walker or Drury batting 2nd, followed by Sanchez, Stanton, Gregorious, etc.
Another team I love with a manager with no experience. Oh boy.

How about the dopey Yankee fans that welcomed NL MVP to the team in his first game at the stadium by booing him. Glad he shoved it up their butts by homering today.

Stanton (12) and Judge (8 ) have 20 strikeouts in 44 at bats. I don't like a power hitter (Judge) hitting in the 2 slot.

keep the tristars near the top of the order. that is another at bat every other game.
gardner, star1, star2, didi, star3, whoever else is hot 6th.
sevy is hot.

I like the table setters up there first, then as mentioned previously.

I'd probably go
Gardner
Sanchez -best righty hitter on the team
Didi - Probably best hitter on the team
4&5 -Judge Stantan either way (when Bird gets back, put him #5, i like the left righty left righty thing.
Imagine a ph like Judge or Stanton at #6?)

5 and 4 start, less than stellar. Can't figure out why the season can't open in warm weather and domed sites. Injuries starting to makes us look like last year's Mets.

I know it's less then 2 weeks into the season, I know there's 162 games in a season.
But Stanton so far at times looks horrible at the plate. Another 3 K's through 4 innings.

I know when it gets warm the HRs will be coming.

What do you want from the Dodgers or Angels to trade him?
Then Yankees can sign Harper this off season

Only April, but bigger concern, IMO, is the fact that the Red Sox did a great job beating up on the little Florida teams of the poor, and has already opened up a bit of distance in the AL East. And, they play Tampa six more games before Memorial Day, while we don't get them again until Mid-June. So, this upcoming series is about as close to a must-win as you can have in April.

Ugh! Bases loaded no outs, Judge hits into a double play and Stanton strikes out again. Talk about ugly.

It's a long season. I hope it's NOT a LOOONG season.

It's only 10 games 7 runs today but 5 of those were in the 1st.

But as we know, a season can turn on a dime, sports are a momentum.
A sweep at Fenway could turn things around real quick. I'll even take 2 of 3.

54 games is the 1/3rd mark. I want to see where they are after 54 games before worrying.
