I agree that beating UCONN, with Clingan and an improved Castle, is going to be a tall order. However, imho, we've already shown we are very capable of beating either Creighton or Marquette; of course no saying we will but I like our chances of taking one of those two.This game is huge. I'd argue that this game, @Butler, and Seton Hall are our biggest games remaining since they are basically 50/50 games. Creighton, Uconn, and @ Marquette are unlikely wins and we truthfully don't need them if we beat SH and one of Butler and Xavier on the road.
That is, of course, assuming we win 3/4 against Georgetown and DePaul. With Pitino, I have faith we take care of the lesser teams. I don't know if we have the talent to beat the top 3, but even last year's squad beat Uconn on the road. We'd have to be on, they'd have to be off, and a lot of things would have to go our way.
Xavier game is huge; if we are able to steal that one on the road, the path to 12-8 becomes very achievable
