Man. This team just finds a way to clamp down and get a few strings of stops in a row when they need to crawl back into the game. There was multiple times tonight I thought we were cooked. There was a time in the 2nd half where Xavier had missed 7 FGs in a row and were in a 4 minute scoring drought and we were still down 8. Seemed then it would be nearly impossible for us tie it up.
Wouldn’t recommend these big first half deficits to continue because they will catch up to us eventually but damn this team is resilient
