Xavier (MSG), Wed., Jan. 22 , 7p, FS-1

Not sure we’ll be able to dig our way out of this hole like we have so many times this year already.

This lead wasn’t built on lights out shooting that will regress. Xavier just playing solid, getting good looks both inside and out and holding their own on the glass.

I think after all the 2nd half comebacks we’ve had this year this is where it catches up to us
 
Nice finish to the half to keep it at 10; Ayo doesn't hurt us at all in short spurts.
 
These are the performances that remind me why I couldn’t stand RJ last year and why despite his talents I’m not going to shed a tear if he’s not here next season.
 
Yes, GT blew a big lead in second half, but they are pretty young, Xavier is veteran group w better bench coaching. Tough get for SJ, but first 5 minutes of second half will tell a lot.
 
can win this game but need a much better second half and stop fouling Xavier simply does not miss from the line. Would be a real downer to beat them on the road and then lose to them at home.
 
First half …… Luis MIA…… Zuby????? Wilcher started out well then reverted back to his MO. This will not be an easy comeback if at all. Someone is going to have to get hot. This is not an inexperienced Georgetown team that will wilt.

We all knew we'd run into "one of these nights..." Eager to see how the group responds in the second half.
 
Considering how bad we played for about 10 minutes, we’re lucky to be down only 10.

Saying that, a comeback against this team seems unlikely. I’m really not that surprised. Playing without Smith is a problem for this team, he’s the glue. As long as he’s out, we’re an average team.

Luis playing like complete crap doesn’t help either. He looks pretty uninterested which is surprising for me. Wilcher’s been decent, and Richmond has had some moments. It’s been ugly.
 
2nd half we get the ball , 2 quick baskets and some D, we have a game.
 
X first team to really take it to us physically in a while. We’ve been able to take punches all year so let’s see how this 2nd half goes
