This team remains the same, a glorified AAU team. Well, we get to watch this nonsense until we get good in February. Twelve games in, a new starting lineup, no offensive sets to speak of, and absolutely still no chemistry. Tough to watch.

You are right Dink! That said, the way we played today and in most of OC play has not left me confident. Critical to cut down rotation & get best eight guys on floor.
 
Says a lot when Jordan most poised player on court for SJU. Karr with all his talent can drive you crazy.

JS has been inconsistent all season long. It's very frustrating to watch him play.

I hear ya Dink, but like I said, Xavier has gone 13:30 combined in this game without scoring a point and we're down 9. That doesn't bode well.
 
I think our biggest weakness is a rebounding big man. And, the lack of heady play is frustrating.
 
Sampson not making a simple freaking pass is gonna be the killer today. Would have down 3, instead...7. How do you not see 2 guys right to your left? Not even 5 feet away?

Well, lol, that's EXACTLY what he was trying to do. Use your teammates, especially when there's 2(!!!) of them WIDE open right next to you.
 
Lavin wouldn't know offensive ingenuity if it smashed his stupid glasses into his face.

That is the key. It's not about running plays, it's about teaching guys offensive principles like when to cut or how to ball fake. Players like jakarr have arguably regressed under this coach. I don't even think it's a question he will be back on espn after this season if these types of games are the norm..pun intended

I feel 'ya! IMO, we had our chance early in the game, and late in the game to make our point. We're gonna fall short. I felt in the back of my mind that we would screw this up when we didn't take a sizeable lead early in the game.

But it still doesn't mean we're gonna end up 9-9.

I've been watching sports too long (35 years), and have seen things change on a dime. Whether, it was for the good or bad. That is my point.
 
What's wrong with dom? Get him out of there. Need to make shots and not give up freebies.

Not for nothing, how does Pointer get any run in this game over anyone? For all this supposed depth we have, he has done NOTHING to warrant the PT today and then that STUPID, pointless reach in 25 feet from the basket will end it.
