Im soo freaking annoyed. Huntington Village has power but I’m easily days away from power my parents in Glen Cove no power. Plus my cell phone reception is horrible now and barely works. I’m freaking driving to the city every day just to remote work from Nathalies parents

Flip phones have shitty reception

Stinks. Especially you driving to city to just work remotely.

Some of my family lost power, some didn't. Luckily no tree damage.

My boss told me he lives in a cul de sac. Huge tree down on wire blocking him and neighbor. Can't get cars out and PSEG said at least a week since its such a low priority.

I work for Central Hudson gas and electric. We have been working like crazy up here trying to restore. We have tree trimming crews, mutual aid helping but there is so much. The state care about amount of restores in speedy fashion so, obviously those with small outages are put in back of pile, crews will make them safe, giving customers hope when they see them but leave to tackle bigger outages. I understand people's frustration understandably, but we are away from home working. I have 5 hours sleep since 5:30a Tuesday and am most likely working through the night again. I feel everyone's pain though.

Both my dad and stepdad are without power in Port Jeff and will be for a couple more days apparently. But my dad has a generator so he's good, well power wise.

My problem lies on Long Island and afternoon Sandy Coumo however it happened we get PSEG my rates skyrocket abd no better service. I don’t fault trees going down and knocking power out just where I live isn’t remote and Huntington is huge tax base and revenue base and I literally haven’t seen a work crew. Not blaming the workers blaming Cuomo and upper upper management and pissed off because my wine and beer got warm

Would it piss you off to tell you my dad just called to let me know Port Jeff has their power back? LOL

Lost power in Hicksville 2 days ago. Neighbor and 2 daughters work for PSEG. Shared a spare generator with us. Were told the fix was only a block away, and would take 2 hours. 2 trucks showed up at 1:30 today, and 2 hours later, at 3:30, we had power. Pleasantly surprised. 100 houses had been out.

Guessing you've eaten your lobster rolls. I'm sure no fridge problems there. All kidding aside, hope your power returns ASAP.

Huntington also, crews parked at Walt Whitman mall....haven’t seen crews on powerlines guess they have to clean up downed trees and clear streets.

I spoke with my dad yesterday and he still has no power but thankfully a backup generator. I have been able to get in touch with my mom, but given her proximity to your house I assume she is still out as well.

My dad is a volunteer at two of the local first aid group and he said it still has to do with the downed trees.

Bloomberg has been reporting large chunks of northern Manhattan are in the dark.

Power still off in New Hyde Park at my brother’s home.

Mine went back on within a half hour. Very fortunate.
