Is it any coincidence that Maher just asked if anyone was going to the WVU game. The cat's out of the bag: MJMAHER is the real Trilly.Trills on Twitter re SJU schedule: “I feel obligated to go to that St. John’s vs. WVU game”. Great sense of humor
If the Portal survives and flourishes like it did this Spring , no Recruit committed or otherwise is off limits to Rick Pitino .Trilly piece includes UConn Flagg recruitment
“UConn has some ground to make up in the Flagg sweepstakes. Duke is the overwhelming favorite to land the No. 1 ranked prospect, with Bill Self and Kansas lurking behind. You can never say never in the recruiting world, but multiple sources indicated UConn fans shouldn’t put all their eggs in this basket”

That’s not how I saw it at all. The only player he specifically named at the start was Clayton and he did it often.I disregard Clayton jr as it seems he was intent on a Florida return . Also , I kind of got the impression in Rick ‘s comments about Jenkins , that it was Daniss who was the more important get from Iona . I may be wrong but , hey ..,
Why do you assume Clayton's decision was a geographic one and not a financial one.? Maybe Rick just didn't think he was worth the same amount of money as Florida did. And no one knows his value better then Rick.If the Portal survives and flourishes like it did this Spring , no Recruit committed or otherwise is off limits to Rick Pitino .
As far as we know , only Mgbako escaped from Rick’s capture .

Could be that as well. Whatever it was, seems like Pitino played his cards well with Clayton, Timberlake and all the other kids who may have been overvalued early on. Of course, only time will tell since there's no way of gaging how a kid will perform when moving from a mid major to a high major, as both Clayton and Timberlake did.Agree w/ Monte...and/or we didn't have the $ support that early on.
Cuffe broke his arm back in June (I guess he has recovered since then) so his injury woes continue.Self hates Cuffe so much he's still recruiting over him even after he's gone.
Because a Geographical relocation for a kid from Florida sounds better than “ he took the Florida $$$ and left NY , Pitino. Why do you assume Clayton's decision was a geographic one and not a financial one.? I was just thinking about the fact that while we know that money is almost always the driving force behind pro contracts, in college sports, I yet have to hear one kid say "such and such school offered me the best financial package".Because a Geographical relocation for a kid from Florida sounds better than “ he took the Florida $$$ and left NY , Pitino.
RP knew he might be getting Alleyne at that time . Or , not .
Also , I still contend that Jenkins was a more important get for Rick than Clayton jr . It appears to me that RP has already given the keys to running the team to Daniss and that was his plan all along .

YetI just feel like that's one of the things you don't say out loud.
Agreed, but why not?? Why continue the farce?I just feel like that's one of the things you don't say out loud.
