Providence does very good job with two recruiters, one covers Northeast & other in the South, primarily Virginia. Anderson is smartly developing a similar approach. Exciting times. Love these late FridayJohnny news dumps!

Even now with Anderson, Cleveland and Van Macon, we should have a good swathe of coverage for recruiting. Get Macon out on the trail ASAP. Let’s build this thing the right way for once!!
Van Macon, a 23-year coaching veteran, was hired at SLU in April 2016 as an assistant coach. In June of 2018, he was elevated to associate head coach.
Macon spent six seasons as an assistant coach at Rutgers before coming to Saint Louis. He also coached for nine years at Hofstra, including three as associate head coach.
Very happy. It's been way too long since we had a well-rounded staff. It's really not a job where one person can do 90+ percent of the work and expect it to work long term.
